Baking Workshop during March 2019 recess week

SCSE Staff Welfare and Bonding Committee organised an exciting hands-on activity to spice up the March 2019 recess week.

SCSE colleagues left their labs/office and entered the ToTT Baking Studio @Suntec to learn the tricks of baking teatime favourites and delicacies such as Strawberry Short Cake with Vanilla Chantilly Cream; Matcha Red Bean Mochi, Red Velvet Cupcakes with Cream Cheese Icing and Cookies with Chocolate chips, Flur De Sel and Walnuts.

SCSE staff turned ‘Chefs-for-a-Day’ creaming, whipping, kneading and icing sweet treats, all while bonding with our family at work!


Day 1, Strawberry Short Cake with Vanilla Chantilly Cream; Matcha Red Bean Mochi.



Day 2, Red Velvet Cupcakes with Cream Cheese Icing and Cookies with Chocolate chips, Flur De Sel and Walnuts.



Day 3, Red Velvet Cupcakes with Cream Cheese Icing and Cookies with Chocolate chips, Flur De Sel and Walnuts.
